A classically trained graduate of the Tant'e Marie Culinary School in San Francisco, Chef Douglas also attended UC Berkeley to study wine. He has catered events and been a chef at famed restaurants since 1995. A gracious partner with our event planning Main Street Cusine, Chef Douglas has cooked for celebrities such as Danny Glover, Sean Penn, Richard Gere, David Letterman, and for our cherished guests like you!

Spectacular Valley Winery Tours

The famed Illinois Valley Wine Appellation Wine Tour routes you through Grants Pass, then Cave Junction to this beautiful Illinois River Wine Region. It will take additional tour time as we briefly visit Oregon Caves National Monument and The Historic Chateau.
The Umpqua Valley Appellation also takes additional time en route to tour one of Southern Oregon's most productive regions known for their bold reds and sublime whites.

You'll have the opportunity to purchase any of the fine and amazingly affordable wines, well packaged for carrying or shipping, or perfect for enjoying soon after your visit. You will learn about the region's history and that the wine industry of Southwest Oregon has truly "come of age" garnering numerous regional, national and international awards! Each is comprised of family-owned and operated wineries with annual sales ranging from 1,000 to more than 100,000 cases. This is partly why they are so unique.
